Would you like to work at the intersection of AI, testing, system understanding and technical development?
We are currently looking for someone who wants to explore how AI can be used to develop and improve verification, validation and technical testing processes at a large international industrial company in Västerås.
This is not a predefined role where all methods and processes are already in place. On the contrary, we are looking for someone who wants to understand the current environment, identify opportunities and help shape how AI can be applied in a complex technical setting going forward.
You will work closely with engineers and specialists within verification and validation, gaining a thorough understanding of how current testing and development processes work.
The focus will be on identifying where AI, automation and new tools can create real value.
Your responsibilities may include:
Analysing existing verification and validation processes
Identifying activities that could be automated or made more efficient
Evaluating AI-based tools and methods
Proposing new ways of working and technical concepts
Working with test data and complex technical systems
Contributing to the structure and direction of future AI initiatives
Testing and evaluating different solutions together with engineering teams and other stakeholders
The role is broad and will likely evolve over time depending on the opportunities identified.
We believe you have a few years of experience from a technical environment and a background within areas such as:
Verification & Validation
System testing
Data Science
Electronics or a related technical field
The most important thing is not that you already have experience from this specific industry, but that you understand how complex technical systems are developed and tested.
You need to be able to combine technical understanding with a broader perspective and see how processes, tools and technologies interact.
Have experience within verification, validation or system testing
Have a good understanding of AI and its practical applications
Can analyse existing ways of working and identify opportunities for improvement
Have a systems- or architecture-oriented way of thinking
Are technically curious and practically oriented
Can communicate technical ideas clearly
Are comfortable working in a role where not all answers are defined from the start
Experience from embedded systems, industrial systems, autonomous systems or other complex product development environments is considered an advantage.
Location: Västerås
Employment: Full-time
Work setup: The position is primarily onsite, as you will need to understand the operations, test environments and ways of working firsthand.
Start date: By agreement
You will initially be employed by A-hub and work as a consultant at our client. After 12 months, the ambition is for the employment to transition directly to the client, provided that the collaboration works well for both parties.
